Hand-picked by small farmers from wild walnut trees in the Samarkand region, Uzbekistan.
Raw I Wild-harvested I Whole Premium Halves
Finally, I can offer you the walnuts I've been searching for for so long. Wild-harvested, small-kernelled, and raw. In addition, you get whole halves here, no broken pieces. This reduces their susceptibility to oxidation. This way, your walnuts stay nice and fresh. As you probably know: I've been recommending these nuts for years due to their benefits. Hardly a day goes by when I don't add walnuts to my yogurt, my pasture-raised eggs, the lentil-feta bowl in the evening, or into a stuffed date with jungle cacao. We have vacuum-packed the nuts for you, so they stay maximally fresh!
Origin
The wild harvest is state-controlled; a fee is paid per kilogram, which simultaneously ensures the protection of the areas. Due to the original growing conditions, the nuts are smaller than cultivated varieties, but particularly aromatic and rich in valuable nutrients. For the local people, these wild products have cultural significance and are traditionally considered "natural medicine."
Trade
The walnuts are produced from A to Z in Uzbekistan – directly in the raw material's country of origin. The harvests of small farmers are pre-financed. This strengthens the entire local value chain and ensures fair incomes, high-quality products, and sustainable economic growth on-site.
